Staff & Shepherds

Spencer Prather was raised in San Antonio, Texas.  After graduating from high school, Spencer attended the University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.  In Austin, Spencer met and married her husband, Jack, and in 2013 they welcomed their first daughter, Harper.  The family moved to Katy in 2014 and welcomed another daughter, Avery, in 2015.  Spencer is currently working on her Master of Divinity through Lipscomb University.  The Prather family enjoys board games, camping, and spending time with their extended family. 

               Spencer’s favorite Scripture is Galatians 2:19-20, where it reads “For through the law I have died to the law so that I might live to God.  I have been crucified with Christ.  It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.  And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
