Staff & Shepherds

Laura grew up in Jacksonville, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  She has a Master’s degree from Stephen F. Austin University in Educational Leadership.  Laura was an elementary teacher for 11 years before working at Memorial.

She and her husband, Matt, met at A&M Church of Christ and began dating after a mission trip together to Made in the Streets in Kenya.  Together, they have two children, Mason and Taylor.  The Norwood family loves watching sports (especially A&M football), spending time outdoors, and visiting family.
