Staff & Shepherds

Tom and Lori Messick are originally from North Carolina where they met and married in Raleigh, N.C. in 1989.  Lori graduated from East Carolina University and Tom graduated from North Carolina State University.  They subsequently moved to Houston (Katy) in 1993 and started attending Memorial.  Both of their children were actively involved in Memorial's children and youth programs.  Their son, Josh graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2016.  He and his wife, Abby live and work in Edmond, OK.  Their daughter, Emma graduated from Texas A&M in 2019 and lives and works in NYC.  Tom is a mechanical engineer and has worked in the oil and gas industry for over thirty years.  Lori is the office manager for a small family owned business.  Tom and Lori love and cherish God’s family, especially those that call MCOC home!
