JourneyLand is the children's ministry of Memorial Church of Christ.  Our ministry to children is designed to give your child an opportunity to learn about God in a fun and interactive way. We offer Bible Hour, an age-appropriate children’s worship experience for ages 2-5, on Sunday mornings during both the 8:20 am and 10:30 am worship services. Dismissal for Bible Hour immediately preceeds the sermon time and lasts until the end of the worship service. We also offer Bible classes on both Sunday morning at 9:30 am and Wednesday at 7:00pm.

Our Nursery/Preschool program is for children from Birth thru Pre-Kindergarten. It is designed to lay foundations for children so that they know that God made them, God loves them and God wants to be their friend. This is learned through music, games, Bible lessons, and crafts. One of our top priorities is to ensure that we have a safe & clean nursery and classroom experience. All adults in our children's department must undergo a thorough national and state background screening process and safety training.  

On Sundays, our elementary Journeyland kids enjoy an exciting journey through the Bible. They rotate through classes that explore God’s plan using curriculum that encourages hands-on learning through various avenues including art, science, cooking, and geography studies. We have 6 rotations, so children are experiencing the Bible lesson in a new way (and in a new classroom) each week.

On Wednesday nights, our preschool and elementary kids have a chance to work with several other grade levels as they study various parts of the Bible in an in-depth way.

Helpful Tips: Visit the check-in station first to get your child’s nametag. Visitors will receive 2 stickers, one for the child and one for the parent that is picking the child up from class. Check the magnet board at the entrance to the children’s wing every Sunday to see if your Kindergarten-5th grade student will be upstairs or downstairs, then look for the colored flag over the doorway to locate the correct room.
